Ian Ninnes – Member of the Month

Each month, the Men of League Foundation features a member who has shown outstanding generosity, compassion and commitment to the Foundation.

Last month, our ‘Members of the Month’ were twin brothers Andrew and Neale O’Brien from our Toowoomba Region Committee.

This month, we are honoured to highlight Ian Ninnes from our Fraser Coast Committee.

Ian was nominated by fellow committee member, Kev Embrey, for the time and energy he continues to put into the Foundation. Ian has been a member and wellbeing officer for the past 6 years and is the current Vice President for the Fraser Coast Committee.

Ian joined the Men of League Foundation to help provide mateship to those whom needed it most. He stated that nothing has made him happier than helping give back to the game that he loves so much. He is a great supporter of rugby league and spent most of his life playing.

Ian has been known to spend a huge number of hours travelling to meetings and events to support the Foundation whilst also visiting a number of wellbeing recipients. His fellow committee members are very grateful as he is forever using his own car to provide a means of transport to his fellow members.
