Macca’s Match Up 2017 – Round 17 – Newcastle Knights v Wests Tigers

It’s a bottom of the ladder clash on Sunday afternoon and I’m going against the home side to see West Tigers pick up a victory over the Knights.

There has been a lot of talk around the Tigers this week and whether they belong in the competition or not, but I think this will stir up the players and help get them off the bottom of the table.

The Knights show promise but they can’t manage to go the full 80 minutes which is why they are lingering around last place, again.

I think Aaron Woods in particular will need to stand up and lead by example. He hasn’t been named captain because he is the prettiest one in the side and there are a lot of young blokes behind him who are ready to follow his lead.
