Rub shoulders with the rugby league elite at Origin Wash Up Luncheon

Brisbane rugby league fans are invited to rub shoulders with the game’s elite and discuss all things State of Origin at the Men of League Foundation Origin Wash-Up Luncheon on Friday 21 July at Norths Leagues and Services Club with Maroons Coach Kevin Walters and NSW legend and NRL Coach Des Hasler.

The emcee for the afternoon will be Fox League’s NRL 360 presenter and the youngest player in State of Origin history, Ben Ikin. The Men of League’s Brisbane Committee will present a rare opportunity to hear Origin and NRL insights whilst helping to raise important funds for the Foundation to continue to care for the men, women and children of the rugby league community.

The exciting luncheon will take place the day after Des Hasler’s Bulldogs clash with the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium and the week after the 2017 State of Origin series decider, presenting a great opportunity to dissect the games and hear unfiltered insights into the teams’ performances straight from the coaches.

“I’m really looking forward to the Men of League Foundation luncheon. It will be good to sit down with Des and Ben and unwrap the Origin series. It’s been a very tight contest this series, so there will be lots of insights and angles for us to talk about,” said Kevin Walters.

“It’s a great line up and all funds raised on the day will assist the Men of League Foundation to care for the men, women and children of the rugby league community. There are still plenty of tables and tickets available, so call North Leagues and Services Club to book your spot,” Kevin Walters concluded.
