Catch-up with former Eastern Suburbs player

Sydney Metro Men of League Welfare Officers Warren Thompson and Alan Webb visited former Eastern Suburbs and South Sydney lower grade player Eddie Wilson, aged 75, at his residence in Coogee on Thursday, 31 October.

Eddie was a robust front and second row forward in his playing days – a Souths Junior who played with Alexandria Rovers and the Chelsea United clubs.
 
Eddie has been having regular Doctor and Hospital trips in the past six months and is still having tests to determine further treatment.
 
Eddie was presented with a Men of League cap and polo shirt, and he thanked Men of League Foundation for thinking of him.
