Helping Lee Ferrier

Lee is a young father who was hit by a car side-on whilst riding his bike, sustaining a broken neck.

It was through this incident that Lee came to find out about the Men of League Foundation and the support they offer to those in need amongst the rugby league community.

The Foundation was honoured to help Lee play a huge part in what he describes as one of the ‘best days of his life’. The Foundation provided a wheelchair accessible van and took Lee down to Freshwater Beach, allowing him to get the salt in his hair and the sand through his fingers again.
