A Visit for Tim Barnes

Western Sydney Committee Wellbeing officers Garry O’Donnell, Noel Willick and Peter Moses made a visit to former Parramatta, Newtown & Sydney Roosters player, Tim Barnes.

Tim has fought hard recently after being diagnosed with throat cancer and shingles. He started his chemotherapy in mid December and has been using his well-known grit to keep toughing it out.

Tim played over 25 First Grade games in his career and bagged five tries as a formidable utility.

The men enjoyed discussing the upcoming rugby league season over a cup of tea, before saying their goodbyes.
Tim was extremely appreciative of the visit and we wish him all the best in his recovery.
