Position Vacant – Men of League Foundation Chief Executive Officer

The Position

The Chief Executive Officer is primarily responsible for devising and implementing strategic plans and policies, establishing operational procedures to support these, providing leadership, direction and oversight across all aspects of the Foundation, whilst ensuring long term organisational sustainability in accordance with the determinations and resolutions of the Board of Directors.

Leading a team of 12 based in Sydney and Brisbane, the CEO is responsible for establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with all stakeholders, including local volunteer committees, NRL and sponsors, to ensure the sustainability of the human, financial and intellectual resources of the Foundation.

The Person

To be considered for this position you will need to be tertiary qualified and commercially astute, with a successful track record in a senior managerial role, preferably in a membership-based organisation. You will have previous experience in developing successful and strategic fundraising and marketing outcomes, ideally in the Not-for-Profit sector.

Previous experience in reporting to a Board and a deep understanding of principles and practices of corporate governance are critical. Experience in the delivery of wellbeing programs, with knowledge of its application to the Rugby League community is highly desirable.
