Peter Dickenson Visit 16 February 2015

On Monday 16th February 2015, Welfare Officers Warren Thompson and Alan Webb along with Cyril Peel visited Peter Dickenson at the Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick.

Peter had been at Sutherland Hospital for 7 weeks and was recently transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital Cardiology Unit at Randwick for further treatment.

Peter was a St. George junior playing for the Ramsgate club and then played grade for St. George in 1960 as a Centre and fullback. He also played for Eastern Suburbs in 1961, 64, 65, & 67. After his time with Eastern Suburbs he moved to the Illawarra area where he played for Thirroul.

Peter informed us that he worked for over 40 years as a Cellarman at St. George Leagues Club.

We presented Peter with a Men of League Polo Shirt. He thanked us for taking the time to visit an old mate, and said that he was a proud member of the Men of League Foundation.
