Brian Finegan Visit 16 February 2015

Men of League member Brian Finegan (Finno) was visited at his home at Bexley on 16th February 2015 by Warren Thompson and Alan Webb, Welfare Officers Sydney Metro branch.

Brian is now at home after having his right knee replacement at St. George Private Hospital on Wednesday 11th February.  He is being cared for by his wife Kay, and has a nurse and physio visit him at his home.

Brian played junior football in the South Sydney Juniors for the South Sydney Monarchs, and was a member of the victorious 1964 South Sydney Presidents Cup team that defeated Parramatta in the final.

He then played for Corrimal as a Centre or fullback in the Illawarra Competition.

Brian was presented with a Men of League Polo shirt and we wish him well with his recovery.

He thanked us for the visit and said that he was proud to be a member of such a wonderful organisation as the Men of League Foundation.
