Our new staff member Vanessa pays a visit to Graham

Vanessa Bolzan is the Men of League Foundation National Manager Membership & Fundraising and recently got a firsthand experience of what it was like to be part of our volunteer system.

We received a phone call from our Newcastle Hunter Committee President Garry Leo that Graham Simmons, who he had played junior football against in the 1950s, was currently in Ryde Hospital after having bypass operations.

He couldn’t believe that old team mates would still remember him and worry about his health. Graham thanked the Men of League Foundation as he loved the company and said he had hoped to be out of hospital soon.
