Our CEO Frank visits Roma Committee President Bodgie

Men of League Foundation CEO Frank Barrett recently visited Roma Committee President Owen “Bodgie“ Lingard in St Andrews Hospital Toowoomba.

His battle has been long and hard but in true fighting spirit, he has defied the odds and bounced back yet again. They joked about the size of that heart and his determination to never give up.

Bodgie puts his recovery down to commitment to rehabilitation and doing more than required by the physio.

His visitors list is legendary, having often been told you can’t have 30 visitors at once in ICU, despite determined footy mates demanding to see Bodgie at the nurses’ reception.
