NRL 360 Stars Visit Mackay Sportmen’s Dinner

Members of the rugby league community from the Mackay region are being invited to a Sportmen’s Dinner with Men of League Foundation’s Mackay Committee on Friday 10 November at Wests Leagues Club.

Organised by the Men of League Foundation Mackay Committee, the dinner will feature Fox League’s NRL 360 co-hosts Paul Kent and Ben Ikin as special guests, all while raising important funds for the Foundation and its work to care for the men, women and children of the rugby league community.

Men of League Foundation’s Queensland Manager, David Shillington, says that the committee’s Sportmen’s Dinner is sure to be popular and encourages everyone in the Mackay area to come along and participate.

“Paul Kent and Ben Ikin will be able to provide great insights to the 2017 NRL season and some of the off-season player movements. We’ll also be in the middle of the Rugby League World Cup, so we can expect some analysis on those game results and assessments of teams. NRL 360 is one of the more analytical rugby league shows, so we are expecting some unique stories and observations. It should be an interesting evening,” said David.

“There are tickets still available to the dinner, which will include a two-course meal and beverage package. We’ll also have auctions and a memorabilia raffle throughout the evening, so there will be the chance to pick up something for the pool room or man cave.

“Funds raised from the day go to helping the Men of League Foundation to care for those from within the rugby league community who may have fallen on hard times and need some assistance. We help people with a range of services from visits to those who may be feeling socially isolated to household improvements and financial support,” David concluded.
