Macca’s Match Up 2017 – Round 16 – Melbourne Storm v Sydney Roosters

I’m looking at the Storm v Roosters game this Saturday night as my match up of the round. If the Chooks can’t beat a State of Origin depleted Melbourne side this week, we will have to start calling them the Feather Dusters.

With Melbourne’s superstars out in the form of Smith, Slater, Cronk and Chambers, Sydney should be set up for the win and should be able to notch another two points on their belt, keeping them at the top end of the ladder.

Pearce and Ferguson will probably still be feeling shattered after thinking they had Origin in the bag, but if they can lift their side and come out with a win, they will prove their worth as the star players they are made out to be.
