Kara’s ultimate fight against cancer

On Saturday 26 May, a dinner to raise funds for Kara Toomey’s cancer treatment was held in the Dubbo RSL Auditorium.

The night included a three-course dinner, Boxing Hall of Fame and OAM recipient Johnny Lewis as the special guest, local entertainment and an auction as well as raffles.

The auditorium was packed with members of the boxing, rugby league, gym and wider community, all offering their wholehearted support to Kara and the Toomey family.
