Frank Barrett announced as Men of League Foundation Chief Executive Officer

Men of League Foundation today announced that Frank Barrett has been appointed Chief Executive Officer for the Foundation, effective immediately.

Frank most recently held the position of Interim National General Manager, having previously been the Foundation’s Queensland State Manager. An experienced rugby league player, commentator and administrator, Frank has also held senior positions for Queensland Rugby League, Melbourne Storm, Newcastle Knights and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in addition to a wide range of Board and advisory positions for various organisations including Country Rugby League, NSWRL and Newcastle City Council.

Professor the Hon. Stephen Martin, Chairman of the Men of League Foundation, said, “This appointment is a perfect fit for us and we know Frank’s industry experience and talents will further enhance the Foundation’s position as a robust, sustainable organisation into the future.

“Frank brings real rugby league knowledge to this role and a demonstrated capability to understand and respond to the needs and challenges of the rugby league community.
