Chad Townsend – Sharks

A lot of responsibilities fall onto this man tonight. Whether it be getting the Sharks around the field, being creative or kicking well, they will all influence the outcome of the match but I think the main area he needs to do well in is defensively.

Jonathan Thurston’s left side attack is the most potent left side attack in the NRL with a whole arsenal of set plays and varying options that will bring you undone.

Chad’s decision making in defence could be the difference between a Grand Final appearance or not as he dictates the decision making for the whole of Cronulla’s right edge.
