1997: Knights v Sea Eagles – Knights to Remember

It was a Cinderella finish for the Newcastle side, fighting their way back from 10-0 and 16-8 down to steal the premiership from the Silvertail’s claws.

With the score at 16-all and just seconds on the clock, Andrew Johns unexpectedly snuck down the blind-side before sneaking a pass away to Knights winger Darren Albert, who planted the ball under the sticks to give the Novocastrians their first taste of premiership success.
