Vale Warwick Warlters

Warwick passed away on 14 August, 2013, at the New Horizons/Aged Care, North Ryde. He had played his junior rugby league days in the North Sydney Junior Rugby League competitions before being graded in 1959 with the North Sydney District RLFC.
Prior to retiring from grade football in 1963 he had played a few games in 1st grade and 80 games in reserve and 3rd grade games;in 1959 in the 3rd grade Grand Final he scored the match winning try to seal the premiership for the North Sydney Bears. He was through and through a true Bears supporter and loved the game of rugby league right until his passing.

Warwick was a very close friend of the late Laurie Nichols "Number One Fan" of the Balmain Tigers,were both "wool classers" and he had many funny stories of their days together. Warwick will be missed by his family and his many friends.
