Vale Richard Marriott

Richard Marriott (Men of League Foundation member number: 2,659) passed away 31 March 2017.

Richard, known as Dick, suffered a heart attack aged 69 years old. North Coast Men of League Foundation member.

A Coffs Harbour local, Dick was a well-known former Coffs Harbour Comet player who once scored 4 tries in game. He began his rugby league career playing on the wing and finished playing in the forwards. Dick was also a former A grade squash player.

Dick was a long-time member of the Men of League Foundation and had previous served on the North Coast Committee as a Wellbeing Officer. He will be sadly missed by the local rugby league community and the North Coast committee.
