Vale Harry Cameron
The Men of League Foundation are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Harry Cameron.
Originally from Narrabri in country New South Wales, Cameron went onto to win a premiership with the Roosters in 1974 before moving to Queensland.
At Wests Brisbane in 1975 and 1976, Cameron won back-to-back premierships, earning selection in the Queensland side for give games against New South Wales in 1975 and 1976.
‘That man Harry’ was affectionately known by many within the rugby league community from his time spent in both country New South Wales and areas around Brisbane and Ipswich where Cameron spent many years involved with rugby league following his retirement from first grade.
The Men of League Foundation extends our heartfelt sympathies to the friends and family of Harry Cameron.
A memorial will be held for the family and friends of Harry Cameron at 2pm on Friday July 9th at Arana Leagues Club.
