Vale Colin Apps
05.02.1952 – 17.11.2017
Men of League Foundation member no. 18,153
Colin was renowned for the courage and spirit he continually showed throughout his lifetime since being seriously injured in a rugby league match at Waverley Oval, Sydney as a teenager.
If he supported your cause you were indeed fortunate as he was a real fighter for what he believed in and would look out for you if you had a different cause. He was a true supporter and friend of the Men of League Foundation and was respected by all those in the Foundation that were fortunate to know him.
It has been said that he was a “courageous, gentle and loving” person and that is an apt description of Colin. He will be dearly missed by all persons who were lucky enough to know him.
To his darling wife Robin and his extended family members, the Men of League Foundation extends their sincere sympathy on your tragic loss.
