Rugby league icon Lionel Williamson at RLWC in Cairns

Queensland Wellbeing & Education Officer Mark Bunting caught up with Men of League Foundation Honouree and North Queensland Team of the Century member, Lionel Williamson at the recent Rugby League World Cup game in Cairns.

Lionel, who has recently returned to work after suffering a heart attack, was at Barlow Park to watch the Samoa v Scotland World Cup game with the students from St Augustine’s College Cairns.

Lionel was in great spirits and was thrilled to be back at work . Thanks to Lionel for taking time out to visit the Men of League Foundation marquee.
