Lending a helping hand to Craig Morris

Central Coast Committee Wellbeing Officers Les Pearce and Lance Henry recently visited Craig Morris in Bateau Bay. John George, a very good mate of Craig’s, was also in attendance.

Craig suffered a stroke in May 2016 resulting in impaired vision and significant paralysis to the left side of his body. Unfortunately, Craig is mostly confined to bed. However, with the assistance of the caring nursing staff and a wheelchair, Craig can attend in-house activities and excursions.

Craig was a masseur for the Woy Woy Roosters rugby league club during the late 70’s and early 80’s.

He and Les exchanged a number of stories of their days at the Roosters and all men discussed the evolution of the game in great detail.

Craig was very grateful of the support given by the Foundation and the local committee members.
