Iconic Mackay All Stars Game

In what has become one of the most talked about events of the Mackay event calendar, the Absolute Enterprises Mackay Cutters will take on a Mackay & District Rugby League All Stars team.

Legendary Mackay rugby league coach Col Grosskreutz has returned to the clipboard to guide the team in what is sure to be an epic clash. Recently retired local legend Grant Rovelli will also return to the playing arena as captain of the inaugural All Stars team.

Both teams will play for the Greg Sutherland Shield, in honour of the late former administrator and Chairman of the Mackay and District Rugby League, Mackay Cutters and Men of League (Mackay).

A one off All-Stars jersey will be auctioned off after the game on Level 2.

Get to the game early to support the Absolute Enterprises Mackay Cutters Mal Meninga Cup side as they go head to head with the Central Highlands Under 20’s side at 5:30pm.

Entry is $5 with all proceeds going towards the Men of League Foundation as they care for the men, women and children of the rugby league community.

Gates open at 4:30pm.
