David Shillington visits Canberra Raiders fan, Peter Colls

Our Queensland Manager Dave Shillington and Wellbeing & Education Officer Mark Bunting visited Peter Colls from Maryborough as part of the Regional Assistance and Wellbeing program.

The RAW program assists regional residents who require treatment away from their home town. Local committees can refer people so that they can be assisted whilst away from home, family and friends.

Peter is from the Wallaroos club in Maryborough. He has had to relocate to Brisbane for a couple of months while he has a bone marrow transplant. Peter is a huge Canberra Raiders fan and was very excited to meet Dave, who is a former Raider. Thanks to a kind donation from the Raiders, Dave was able to present a jersey Peter who was very grateful.
