Cowboys Support Men of League in Round 23 Community Match Day
The Men of League’s Townsville Committee have long shared a special relationship with the North Queensland Cowboys, made evident by the club’s support in Round 23 with Men of League promoted as a match day charity partner. Our volunteers sold raffle tickets to win a Cowboys hospitality package for 10 people and also operated a marquee to promote the work of the foundation at the ground. We were also given the opportunity to win some cash at half-time through the Cowboys “Toyota Hilux Kick” promotion which provides a supported charity the chance to win $100 for every ball kicked through a goal square. We were well represented by Townsville President Mark Williams who left nothing in the tank to score $500 for the foundation. Great job Mark! Our sincere thanks to the North Queensland Cowboys for their ongoing support.
