Well Trent Robinson certainly didn’t hold back on Ben Cummins performance on a terrific ANZAC clash. Whether he is wrong or right, the NRL has strong guidelines towards criticism of officials and I expect a substantial fine heading the Roosters way.

It brings back memories of other coaches blowing up – from Geoff Toovey’s “There has to be an investigation!”, to way back when Bob Fulton threatened an official with a cement truck. I know I gave as good as any in my time at the Sharks but I was lucky the rules were different back then.

Love em or loath em, referees are a big part of our game and it doesn’t matter how much technology we throw at the game, there is still a human element in it that can never be 100% perfect.
