Catching up with Mackay locals Mick and Rian

Men of League Foundation Queensland Chairman Darryl Van de Velde was recently in Mackay to present a life membership of the QRL Northern division to Mick Aprile.

Mick, who hasn’t been well recently, was thrilled to receive the award from his old friend. Whilst in Mackay , Darryl also caught up with Rian Smith who the Foundation has assisted in the past. Both Mick and Rian were in great spirits enjoying the Mackay rugby league grand finals.
