A night out at the rugby league with Royal Rehab

A night out at an NRL match is tempting to all rugby league fans and certainly to those men who are inpatients at the Royal Rehab Spinal Unit. The outing gives them an opportunity to have a great night out, watch a game and interact with the public.

This was the case recently when Northern Sydney Welfare Officers Ken Vessey and Fred Jackson were given the chance to host a group of clients from the Royal Rehab Spinal Unit at the Bulldogs v Wests Tigers game on 9 July. The group included Troy Miles and wife Nicole, Peter Gaylard, Rodney Bird, Michael Bannister and Samantha Genco from Royal Rehab.

As one would expect, the lads enjoyed the game, the hospitality extended to our group and we were grateful to those who made the night possible.
