A gift for former Mackay player Brian Ford

Mackay Committee Wellbeing Officer Ken Weir recently spent time with his old mate Brian Ford – a member of the first Mackay team to win the Foley Shield trophy. Brian had lost his copy of this photo and Ken was able to supply him with a copy of it.

Brian Ford represented Mackay, North Queensland and QLD Country. He also played club football with South and Carltons in Mackay.

These days Brian has an interest in painting and spends his time creating his own works of art.
