Visit to Graham Sly

On Saturday 17 June, Warren Thompson from Sydney Metro Committee and Col Downing representing Chelsea Old Mates visited Graham Sly who was recovering in hospital following major surgery. Warren and Col were pleased to find Graham is recovering well.

Graham, Colin and Warren have been mates for close to sixty years having been teammates with Chelsea United club in the South Sydney Juniors.

Graham has always had a great attitude to keeping fit and attends the gym regularly. No doubt his physical fitness will assist in getting back to training and enjoying a beer with his old mates.

He was pleased to receive a Men of League Foundation polo shirt and the Foundation wishes him the very best for his recovery.
