Western Sydney Committee to celebrate 2018 in style

The Men of League Foundation’s Western Sydney committee is inviting all rugby league supporters and members of the community to join them for their end of year celebration at the Coolibah Hotel, Merrylands on Saturday 15 December.

The afternoon provides a fantastic opportunity for members and friends of the committee to get together and spread the Christmas cheer and raise funds for a worthy cause.

Men of League Foundation New South Wales Manager Bruce Walker says that the event is sure to be a great afternoon with racing sweeps, memorabilia and raffles available throughout the afternoon.

“The Western Sydney committee is looking forward to capping off a great year for the Foundation and an entertaining afternoon is sure to be had by all attendees”, Bruce said.

“The event will get underway from 12:30 PM and tickets cost $30 per person which includes canapes & two drinks. It provides a great opportunity to catch up with all involved with the Foundation during the festive season and celebrate what has been a brilliant year.

“All funds raised from the afternoon will go toward the Men of League Foundation supporting those within the rugby league community who have fallen on hard times. The Christmas period is one of giving and we would love to share some of that Christmas spirit and provide hope leading into the new year,” Bruce concluded.
