Wellbeing recipient Charli meets her idols

8-year old Charli Berghauser recently had the thrill of a lifetime when she met Brisbane Broncos NRLW premiership winning players Ali Brigginshaw and Meg Ward.

A talented player herself who pulls on the green and gold jersey for the Jimboomba Thunder Junior Rugby League Club, Charli has been unwell of late but certainly had a lift in spirits following the visit from two of her favourite players.

Queensland Wellbeing Manager Mark Bunting expressed his sincere gratitude to Ali and Meg for taking time out of their busy schedules to come visit Charli.

“Special thanks to the Brisbane Broncos for organising two of their players to visit young Charli at her home recently,” Mark said.

We wish Charli a speedy return to full health in 2019!
