Welfare Officers visit Peter ‘Woody’ Woodcroft

Last week Men of League Sydney Metro Welfare Officers Warren Thompson, John Peard and Alan Webb visited Peter Woodcroft at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Peter’s friend Neville Woods, alerted Welfare Officers to the news that Peter had been in hospital numerous times over the past few months with breathing difficulties.

Peter was a former official of the NSW Professional Runners Association and is a currently proud member of the Men of League Foundation.

After a few laughs and yarns Welfare Officers presented Peter with a Men of League polo shirt and a South Sydney Rabbitohs cap.

The Men of League wish Peter all the best for the future and a speedy recovery.
