Welfare Officers visit Colin Glover

On Wednesday 2 December 2015 John Peard, Warren Thompson and Alan Webb visited Colin Glover Men of League member No. 25623 in Ward Two West, Calvary Hospital, Kogarah.

At the time of the visit Colin had his son Greg, daughter Lisa and granddaughter Melissa with him. He has been in Calvary for three weeks and has cancer.

We were informed by Colin that he was a South Sydney boy originally playing for the Mascot club before playing four games in Souths third grade team in 1956. He then moved to Balmain Tigers and played for the club in 1957 and 58, before having the season off in 1959. He returned to the Tigers in 1960 where he played First Grade as a hooker.

He was presented with a Men of League polo shirt and cap. Colin’s family expressed their gratitude to Men of League for taking the time to visit their dad.
