Visit to Robbie Griese

Robbie Griese is currently in Rankin Park Centre – within John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle. Recovering from a leg lost to diabetes.
 
Robbie was a fixture in four Warialda Premiership teams in the 1960s & 1970s partnering Country Rugby League representative Ashley Barnett in the centres.

Robbie represented Northern Division in CRL Championships and against New Zealand at Tamworth in 1975 and also that year toured Papua New Guinea with the Northern Division team coached by ‘Bandy” Adams – a team which included Frank Fish, Peter Boulton, Jim Leis & Joe Craigie.
