Visit to Jessie Moffat

Today Tegan Jennings, our QLD Events and Operations Manager, had the pleasure of visiting Jessie Moffat.

Jessie is one of the most bubbly, positive, happy people we’ve ever visited. She’s currently in the Oncology Ward at the Princess Alexander Hospital. She’s from a small town out past Willowbank. Jessie was originally only meant to be in hospital for 1-3 weeks but suffered from a stroke which had her stay extended to 3 months. Jessie’s hoping she’ll get to go home next week if all continues to go well.

Thanks to the Queensland Rugby League, Tegan was able to present Jessie with a Queensland State of Origin player’s jersey signed by Johnathan Thurston.
