Visit to Daniel Adra

 A visit to Daniel Adra by Garry O’Donnell – Western Sydney Men of League secretary, Col Downing – Chelsea Old Mates committee man and Warren Thompson – Sydney Metro Welfare found Danny at his home, laid up with a compound fracture of the fibula in his left leg.

The serious injury occurred in mid April when Danny was tackled during an A-grade match playing for the St George Dragons – in the Canterbury Bankstown junior league. He is hopeful of getting into hospital quickly to have a second operation. 
 
Now 24 years of age he has played with the same club since he was about 5 years old. This very likeable young man impressed the  visitors with his determination to get mobile again and be able to do his job as a PE Teacher. We will keep in touch and support Danny in his recovery in whatever way possible. 
 
Danny was quick to put his new Men of League Polo shirt on and have a photo taken with his three new Men of League mates.
