Vale Tony Kriletich

Former New Zealand International second rower/lock forward Tony Kriletich (Kiwi no.459) passed away on the 21st May, aged 72. 

Tony played 22 consecutive for the Kiwis between 1965-72 scoring 2 tries. He represented New Zealand in the 1968 World Cup in Australia, and the 1970 World Cup in Great Britain, and was also the Vice-Captain of the Kiwis in 1971 when they were the first New Zealand side to win a test series against Great Britain in England.

Tony was also an inductee in Auckland Rugby League Hall of Fame.
