Vale – Ross Gigg

The Men of League wishes to recognise the passing of long time supporter, Ross Gigg.
 
Ross was a shining light and driving force in the Men of League Newcastle/Hunter committee, where his contribution was greatly appreciated by not only the Newcastle fraternity, but the Men of League family.
Ross, 58 was a much loved husband and father to wife Linda and children, Jason and Hayley.

Chairman of Men of League, Ron Coote said, “Everyone at Men of League was very sad to hear of the passing of Ross Gigg today.

“From his days as a player in Penrith, to his commitment and contribution to the Men of League for many years, Ross was a man of integrity and respected by all who knew him.”

Ross was a centre for Penrith achieving 110 first grade games in the 1970s and 80s.
 
After retiring he became involved in junior administration for the Panthers and served as general manager for the Western Australian Rugby League.
 
The Men of League wish Linda, Jason and Hayley our sincerest condolences.

The relatives and friends of Ross are warmly invited to attend a Celebration of his Life to be held in The Newcastle Jockey Club, Darling St, Broadmeadow this Wednesday (May 14, 2014) Service commencing at 11.00am

In lieu of flowers donations to H.M.R.I may be made at the Service.
