Vale Ken English
Former New Zealand International front row forward Ken English (Kiwi no. 328) passed away on the 24th March aged 89.
A police officer, Ken switched from rugby union to rugby league where he had a distinguished playing career.
In the 1950/51 test series against the touring France side he played in one test. The following year in 1951/52 he toured Great Britain and France with the New Zealand side, playing 14 games on tour, without appearing in any of the tests.
Ken was a life member of both the Wellington and New Zealand rugby league.
To the English family the Men of League express their sincere condolences.
