Vale John W. Osborne

John Passed away on 30th June 2014, he played Presidents Cup and was a member of the 3rd Grade Balmain Premiership side in 1960. John played fullback and kicked two goals in an earlier semi final against North Sydney. Players at the Balmain club at that time were Keith Barnes, Bob Mara and Kevin Smyth. He was always a Balmain Supporter through his life a was a believer “That Balmain Boys Don’t Cry”. He loved his cricket also and played Competition cricket when he moved to Canberra. Upon his return to Sydney he settled at Allambie Heights NSW. John was a gentleman and loved his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife Fay, Children/Spouses, 21 Grandchildren and friends. The Men of League extend their sympathies to his family.
