A true bush boy born Boorowa, passed away at Shellharbour. Don played for Thirroul, Hay, Cootamundra, Griffith Black & Whites, Lismore and Capt / Coach of the inaugural 1970 Albury Roos Premiership team.

Don worked in many bush towns for the Bank NSW, then in the caravan park industry at Tamworth, Alstonville and finally Shellharbour.

A big fast Centre /Winger he was leading try scorer in many clubs and was “Sportsman of the Year “at Albury in 1970.

Don married Anne Keenan in 1968. They had three children, Phillip (dec) Alison and Jannell. Don will be remembered as a family man, successful businessman and talented footballer.
