Vale Colin Robert Scott (1941 – 2015)

31 January 1941 – 9 April 2015

On 9 April 2015 Colin Scott, a Men of League member, formerly of Bondi, Northern Beaches and Ocean Shores sadly passed away. Colin will be remembered from his rugby league playing days as a rugged and talented forward, Player Number 554, with the Eastern Suburbs “Roosters” District Rugby League Football Club in 1965 – 1966 and 1968 when he played 15 games in the 1st grade team plus numerous games in Reserve and 3rd Grade teams.

He was also an active member of the Eastern Suburbs Past Players Committee and he will be missed by all of his past team mates.

Colin will be sadly missed by his loving partner Diane, family members Caroline, Jenny (deceased), Cameron, Simon and Damian and grandchildren Michelle, Jack and Alyssa.

He will always be remembered by all those spectators back in the good old days, who had the pleasure to see him run out for the “Roosters” at Sydney Sports Ground .

A Funeral Service was held on the 17 April 2015 at the Macquarie Park Crematorium, North Ryde .
