Vale Brett Landers

Brett Landers (Foundation member number: 16,471) passed away peacefully at his home In Perth on August 1 2017.

Brett played rugby league for Brighton Seagulls and James Cook High. He was a goal kicking front row forward, playing in winning premierships with both teams.

The Landers family are as rugby league as you can get with Brett’s father Bob Landers a highly successful first grade player and leading point scorer in Sydney with Eastern Suburbs and Penrith in the 1960’s. Younger brother Kurt played first grade in Sydney with St George and Penrith. The sons possessed excellent sporting genes as Elaine their mother was a gifted athlete.

Brett has had health issues for a long time and has been lovingly looked after by his devoted mother with great support from Kurt and his family. The rugby league community sends their sincere condolences to the Landers family. Brett is survived by his mother, brother and family and will be sadly missed by Michele and his children Jade and Jake.
