The Southern Division Committee’s Toowoomba Golf Day was a great success on Friday 13 February with a big community turn out.
Men of League Ambassador, Shane Webcke and Ben Ikin were special guests on the day and National Men of League Welfare Manager Ben Ross and Wally Fullerton-Smith spent time in the lead up to the event visiting rugby league faithfuls around the area.
The Golf Day attracted a large attendance with people from as far as Cobar and Glen Innes taking part on the day. The winners of the event were:

Wayne Maiden, Kurt Haensch, Allan Ross and Damian McDonald with Best Nett of 52 ¾.
Jason Cook, Ian O’Brien, Col Hayes and Wally Fullerton-Smith Nett Runner up with 55 7/8.
Robert McGavin, Dick Palmer, Scott Briskey and Peter O’Callaghan with Nett Third of 56 1/8 ocb.
Greg Sander, Nathan Sander, Frank Hedge and Matt Hedge won Best Gross with 60.
