Paul Judd Visit

On Thursday 8th January 2015 Paul Judd, 50 years old, was visited at Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick by Sydney Metro Welfare Officers Warren Thompson and Alan Webb, together with John Peard and Sydney Metro branch President Henry Morris.

Paul, a South Sydney Junior played grade with the mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs in the late 80’s.

After a few stories and jokes were exchanged Paul was given a Men of League Polo shirt and Cap.

He has had many former South Sydney players calling in to see how he is going and expressed his thanks to the Men of League Foundation for the visit.

Paul had a Melanoma which unfortunately spread to the lung, brain and his spine. He has spent the past seven weeks in Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick and undergone numerous operations and unfortunately owing to his condition is now confined to a wheelchair.

We wish him well in the future.
