Order of Australia Honours

A huge congratulations goes out to two of our volunteers, Bryson Luff from the Men of League Western Region Committee and Noel Bissett President of our Canberra Monaro committee, who were both awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in this year’s Queen’s Birthday honours.
 
Noel Bissett was recognised for his ongoing commitment to rugby league and his dedication and support for the NSW and ACT fire brigades.
 
Bryson Duff received an award for his service to the community of Gilandra, in particular his passion and dedication to the Oncology Unit at Dubbo Base Hospital, which he helped build.
