Old Norths teammates visit Eric Sladden

Eric Sladden has had a tough time after being in hospital for many weeks. After the Sydney Metro welfare team visited Eric about 8 weeks back Eric was only home for a short period of time before being admitted to the Mater Hospital in North Sydney.

Two of his former Bears teammates in the sixties Jeff Simmonds (halfback) and Denis Cubis (centre) visited Eric and reminisced about old times. The visit proved a great tonic for the former Souths and Norths prolific try scoring wingman who scored a total of 80 tries in first grade for the two foundation clubs.

If there are any other old mates that would like to visit Eric please contact Warren Thompson via Men of League Foundation on 8765 2232.
