Men of League Foundation and Wests Tigers – Acts of Kindness

Ellie comes from a rugby league family in the country who have contributed so much to the game and community. She has a kind heart, loves people and has a bubbly personality that lights up a room.

A few months ago, Ellie was diagnosed a specific type of leukaemia that changed everything. Her family moved to Sydney for treatment, uprooting their lives as they began this courageous fight together.

As part of the Acts of Kindness initiative, the Men of League Foundation and Wests Tigers joined forces to try and help. Ellie’s family received petrol and food vouchers and gift cards, while young Ellie got a jersey with her name on the back and the chance to meet her favourite person of all, Timmy the Tiger.

We’re incredibly proud to be able to make a small difference in the lives of Ellie and her family, and for everyone’s support to the Acts of Kindness initiative that allows things like this to happen.
